Book Publishing & Soul Development

Today we will cover The #1 Obstacle Stopping You from Publishing & How to Overcome It.

Did you know you and I can be our own worst enemies? And when it comes to writing and getting your publishing done you will fail if you try to be a PERFECTIONIST.

But think about it for a minute…

How often have you noticed that so called professional authors with “big time” publishers have “big time” mistakes in their books? I have seen it over and over again. So, you know what that tells me?

YOUR BOOK DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT TO GET IT PUBLISHED!

Now hold on a minute! I am all for EXCELLENCE! I believe that as authors we should not only present our literary work to the world to add value to it but we need to also make sure it is delivered in the best and most excellent format possible.

The difference is that perfectionists…

constantly miss deadlines

AND

always have unfinished projects!

> Have you missed the deadline you had set to finish with the writing or the publishing of your book?
> Do you have unfinished chapters and a whole lot of THINGS still left on your Publishing Things To Do List?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, you are making a common mistake that many authors make and it is time for you to correct it. I remember when I was “thinking” about publishing my first book. I procrastinated because I felt like everything had to be just right…the finances, the timing, etc. The truth is “everything” will never be just right.

I can only imagine if I would have given into perfectionism and procrastinated in getting my book published. I know that without a doubt the following would not have happened:

> My book would not have helped the countless people that bought it and are benefiting from it even now.
> I would not have spoken before the thousands of people that this new platform created for me.
> I would not have had an open door for the television and radio interviews and other endless opportunities that have come my way.
> My brand would not have been as known as it is now. (And trust me I know I have a ways to go.) 🙂
