Jesus explains in Matthew 6:33 (KJV), “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” What things? In the preceding Scriptures, Jesus addressed the things, methods, and guarantees of kingdom living. He laid out the necessary things we need for survival in this world. This world is where spirit meets flesh and becomes the human body and soul. Kingdom living provides everything we could ever need, want, or desire. But most importantly, it provides a relationship with our Father which art in Heaven.
In John 10:7-10 (KJV), Jesus states that the way to kingdom living is through Him. Satan is our adversary. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that you might have life, here in this world, and have it more abundantly. A life of more than enough! A life of protection from the enemy. A life filled with provisions, and a life that is neverending after we leave this earth. Are you excited yet? Let’s go a little bit deeper!
Matthew 13:44–47 (KJV) explains that the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field; and once discovered, a man was willing to sell all he had to acquire what he found. Again, a merchant discovering a pearl of great value, sold all he had to purchase his find. The kingdom is not a concept. It is real and it has the power to change your reality.
Therefore, you do not have to spend your life like the infidels, heathens, and pagans who spend their lives going after stuff to define the value of their lives. We can hold ours in our hands because our life is not in material things. The kingdom resides in your heart and can bring you to a place of whatever you need, whenever you need it. You have access to an internal supply for whatever you need, whenever you need it. And, when you don’t need it, you will know how to be happy and satisfied with what you have. You can praise God for what you have and learn that in having something to wear and something to eat, you can be content because contentment with godliness is great gain! So, stop looking at what is, and start looking at what could be.
Once you become born again, you have been naturalized as a kingdom citizen. You become a child of God and an heir. “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” means that the kingdom is already here and that we are the participants. (Matthew 6:10 (KJV) We are responsible for bringing God’s will to the earth. Let that sink in! We are the conduits or the channels that bring heaven to earth through our gifts and talents that He has placed within us. These gifts and talents were not given out all willy-nilly. They were not given just for our use. They were given for His specific time and purpose (2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV).
Your life was pre-ordained by Him and set in order prior to your arrival (Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV). Jesus was the will of God in action. Now, you must step into that order to experience the satisfaction that it brings. Once stepping into that order, be prepared to move (take action) to the next level of supernatural power. Learn how to access all that belongs to you as an heir. Believe in the things that God has placed in you. Work the work. Everything you need is within you. While meditating, God spoke to me and said, “Many of the problems people experience, they create themselves.” Trust God to complete the work in you (Philippians 1:6 (KJV). As you go deeper in God, He will enlarge your capacity to do bigger and greater things. Know that every trial is designed to bring you to a greater position in God. The way to get up is to get down with prayer and humility. We must learn to live in what could be. We have a charge on our lives, that we give others permission to hope. Your potential is up to and in you. Your satisfaction is based on the Word of God (our instruction manual). Remember, the devil never attacks a powerless person. Your God-given power is your protection (Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV). Your power is what Satan is after, and he can only take it if you give it to him (Luke 4:6 (KJV).
To give you a preview of your journey to satisfaction, here are the things the kingdom provides:
- A King and Lord – Jesus, sovereign, full of glory, nature, and authority
- A territory – a domain
- A constitution – a royal covenant between the King and His citizens
- A citizenry – people under rule; a community of subjects
- Law – acceptable standards and principles established by the King
- Privileges – rights and benefits
- A code of ethics
- An army – security
- A commonwealth – an economic security
- A social culture – protocol and procedures
- A health program – healing
- An education program – teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit
- A taxation system – tithing
- A central communication system – gifts of the Spirit
- Diplomatic corps – the ambassadors of Christ
- A system of administration – the ministration of the Spirit through mankind called the Church
- An economy – a system of giving and receiving (seedtime and harvest)
The distinction of God’s kingdom compared to others…all citizens are relatives (children of God) and are kings themselves created to rule and to reign in the earth.
Satisfaction is guaranteed in the Kingdom of God!
In His Service, Darlene E. Richard Evangelist and Kingdom Teacher
Darlene Richard has been a minister since 1996. She has taught Bible study for over twenty-seven years and has been active in the Church since the age of six. Darlene has an inept ability given to her by God to teach the gospel, and she is gifted with a voice to sing His praises. She believes that the Scriptures are not just information or stories given for the purposes of just storytelling, but that they are a source of life to those that receive them as such.

As always, this was a great word with tremendous revelation.
Thank you, Evangelist Darlene, for this powerful word!
This reminder was the highlight for me… “The devil never attacks a powerless person. Your God-given power is your protection. Your power is what Satan is after, and he can only take it if you give it to him!”
I love this, Darlene. Thank you for reminding us and inspiring us towards the path to Kingdom Living.
