Book Publishing & Soul Development

Big News! Only for People with Big Dreams!

If you’re a dreamer — like me, then you know the only way you can get anywhere in life is if you add some ‘doing’ along with that ‘dreaming’.

And if you’re super busy — like me, then more often than not, you’ll find yourself procrastinating on the things you really want to do because of all the things in your way that you really have to do!

Like…

  • Taking that vacation.
  • Spending time with your loved ones.
  • Publishing that book! (You know I was coming for you. :-))

Here’s what I’ve discovered about “doing it”. That “it” of course represents what you would really love to do. The only problem is you’ve got too many “good” excuses that are keeping you from “doing it”. Until you are able to let go of the excuses, stop procrastinating, and most of all understand your WHY, you will not be able to fulfill those Big Dreams!

This is the core of what I’ve been able to do with many of my authors that have successfully published their books through me. I’ve helped them discover their WHY. And knowing their WHY helped them to go on to achieve great success.

Take Dr. Rakisha, for instance. I’m sure you saw some of the awesome pictures I sent via email the other day with highlights from her fabulous book launch. She made it happen because she had a big WHY. (If you missed the pictures, you can see the highlights of them on my KishKnows Facebook Page.)

The big news is, if you have Big Dreams, you have to have a Big WHY!

Your WHY has to be so BIG that it drowns out all of those “good” excuses.

  • Your WHY is the purpose, cause or belief that inspires you.
  • Knowing your WHY helps you make the right choices.
  • Your WHY is the reason WHY you get up in the morning.
  • Your WHY is the fuel that keeps you going on the right path when you want to drive off the cliff.
  • Your WHY is the inspiration in your life that is so BIG, it spills over into the lives of those around you.

So, how does your WHY translate into helping you get your book published? I’m glad you asked…

There are some key questions that you have to answer to help you determine the Big WHY for publishing your book, which in turn will be the motivation for you to get it DONE!

  1. What is the ultimate result — the #1 thing you want to happen — as a result of your book being published?
  1. What above-average knowledge and/or experience regarding the subject of your book do you have as opposed to everyone else?
  1. Five years from now, how will you feel if you still haven’t published your book?
  1. Right now, imagine that your book is published and you are holding it in your hand. What emotions do you feel?

If those are good feelings and the ones that you’d like to repeat over and over again, then you have definitely found your Big WHY!

Now, here is one more thing you should note that will solidify your WHY. I’m borrowing this from one of my millionaire coaches, Akbar. He always tells us,

“You have to have a WHY that will make you cry!”

That cry can be a good cry or a bad cry. The point is, it is ONLY until your WHY can move you emotionally that you’ll be able to press past all the excuses and accomplish your Big Dreams.

If you still want a little help in achieving your WHY, I’ve got some good news for you.
